A: If you are eligible for critical illness benefits under your policy,
the benefits will be paid out to your family in one lump sum. |
A: Under most policies, a critical illness illness is one that results in
the loss of independence. Cancer, stroke, heart attack, heart surgery,
kidney failure, organ transplantation, brain tumor, paralysis, coma,
permanent disability, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's Diseases, and Multiple
Sclerosis may qualify you. Check with your critical illness insurance
lawyer to help identify the specific provisions of your contract. |
A: Critical illness insurance is not based on your
inability to work, whereas disability insurance depends solely on this
result. The advantage is that qualifying policy holders are able to
collect the full amount of coverage, even if you make a full recovery. |
A: If your claim has been denied contact us to determine whether your claim has a chance of winning. |
A: Share Lawyers does not require a down payment or retainer from its critical illness insurance clients. Our lawyers operate on a contingency fee basis, where all costs are covered up front by our firm, and the lawyer collects his or her fee only in the event of a recovery. |
A: There are time limits to all claims and any delay in proceeding may be
subject to a deadline. You should not delay in proceeding with your
claim or obtaining legal advice to clarify these deadlines. |
