FAQ - Life Insurance Coverage Disputes

A: Each life insurance coverage policyholder names a beneficiary who becomes the sole receiver of life insurance coverage benefits in the event of the policyholder's death. A policyholder may name multiple beneficiaries if needed.

A: Depending upon factors such as age, gender, lifestyle, occupation and risk factors, your insurance agent put together a life insurance coverage plan for the policyholder with specific amounts, usually accumulated over time, to be distributed to the beneficiary upon death. The stated beneficiary may collect on the amount after providing proof of the policyholder's death.

A: The four main life insurance coverage policies are term life insurance coverage, which pays your beneficiary a fixed amount of money upon death, whole life insurance coverage, where premiums remain at a fixed level and the policy generally builds up cash value on a tax-deferred basis, universal life insurance coverage, which allows the policy holder to adjust the death benefit and premium payments, and variable life insurance coverage, where benefits and risk are determined in part by financial markets.

A: Once your life insurance coverage claim has been denied, we can offer a free consultation to determine if you have a chance of winning your claim.

A: David Share Associates does not require a down payment or retainer from its life insurance coverage clients. Our disability lawyers operate on a contingency fee basis, where all costs are covered up front by our firm, and the lawyer collects his or her fee only in the event of a recovery.

A: There are time limits to all life insurance coverage disputes and any delay in proceeding may be subject to a deadline. You should not delay in proceeding with your claim or obtaining legal advice to clarify these deadlines.

Testimonials

"Very supportive; Steven Muller was helpful, truly caring and explained matters in an understandable way."
"I cannot thank you enough (Steven Muller) for the wonderful job you did on my behalf. You presented my case with such confidence and expertise, it immediately put me at ease. You were awesome! I feel really fortunate to have had you as my lawyer. Your quiet voice, calm, and slow speaking manner helped me to calm down and retain all that was going on. You were giving great advice and lots of encouragement along the way. Your negotation skills were brilliant! I have never seen anything like it before. My former experience at mediation with the union and the hospital was the complete opposite."
I found Mr. Share and all the other individuals I worked with helpful and informative. I was made to feel as though I was the only client.
"At the first meeting with David Share the plan for my case was outlined very clearly."
