Facts & Figures - Cancer
Because there are over 100 types of cancers affecting many different parts of the body, symptoms come in many varieties. Lung cancer, the most common form, might be indicated by coughing, wheezing, chest pain, and shortness of breath. Another widespread form is breast cancer, which can cause a lump or indentation in the breast, as well as a change in the colouration of the nipple or unusual discharge from the nipple. Pain or difficulty urinating can be a sign of prostate cancer. However, it is not uncommon for someone to suffer no symptoms at all until the disease is diagnosed.
Fact: In a report on worldwide cancer survival rates, Canada ranked near the top of the 31 countries studied with an estimate five-year survival rate of 82.5 percent.
Fact: 50-75% of cancer deaths are caused by three harmful behaviors: tobacco use, lack of exercise, and poor diet.
Fact: 5% of cancers are hereditary. A person whose family has a history of a specific form of this affliction is more likely to develop it one day.

Testimonials
I knew exactly where I stood at all time. What was explained to me was realistic and truthful. I was not pressured to settle, things were done in a timely manner.
It was my first experience dealing with any law firm. Scary at first, but I was put at ease very quickly by David and his team.
Everyone was extremely professional and efficient. Everyone along the way from the receptionist to the lawyers themselves was very helpful, including David Share.
It had its ups and downs during this battle with the insurance company, but in the end I knew this firm would come through for me. There are so many people at this firm that have moves at the drop of a dime and that is one of the things that kept my spirits high. I was very happy with the result. Without you I would have nothing. I would have preferred a shorter wait time.
