People who are diagnosed with vertigo and vision impairments often experience specific symptoms. Blurred vision, dizziness and a feeling that the patient is spinning are common. The person may feel unbalanced and unable to walk straight. Severe vertigo can result in extreme nausea and vomiting. Things like past medical history and blood work are also assessed. Some doctors use advanced technology like MRI's and CT scans to ultimately detect the root of the problem.
