Ron Campbell
My life was in turmoil during my illness. I lost everything because my insurance company would not pay my claim. David Share helped me get what I was entitled to and I can now start my life again and concentrate on getting better.
The staff was courteous and very understanding and helpful. I will always recommend DSA. They fought for what I deserved and got it for me. I now don’t have to worry about how I will pay for my next meal while I recover from my illness. I can start building my life again.
Facts & Figures - Scarring Injuries
There are three main types of scar. These are atrophic or depressed scars, hypertrophic or elevated scars, and keloidal scars, which are actually a type of tumor. The symptoms of atrophic and hypertrophic scarring injuries are redness, healing that takes place only on the site of the injury, and thickness of the scarring tissue. A keloidal scar will extend beyond the original injury and can be tender, itchy, or even painful.
Fact: A healthy person with a well-treated injury is less likely to develop severe scarring.
Fact: It is thought that people with darker skin are more likely to develop a keloidal scar.
