Because there are over 100 types of cancers affecting many different parts of the body, symptoms come in many varieties. Fact: 50-75% of cancer deaths are caused by three harmful behaviors: tobacco use, lack of exercise, and poor diet.

Fact: 5% of cancers are hereditary. A person whose family has a history of a specific form of this affliction is more likely to develop it one day.
